In this lesson I have leaned about how to do research.I find it quite difficult to do it because there’s are a lot of information, which I don’t know with one I can refer to. Good reference should shows the writer name and true information about the work I did, but in bad research didn’t show much about the information and don’t know is it a true information about an object.

I have chosen to find information about landscape. I found this topic is quite big so I could choose a lot of places to do the research of it. In this work it has required me to do two good research and two bad research.

Landscape Primary research

Good Things about Primary research 1. Go outside to see the actual view 2. Ask local people where is the most beautiful view 3. Travel to many places

Bad Things about Primary research 1. Take time to travel to each places 2. Spending a lot of money for a research 3. Can’t travel to many place in a day

Good Secondary Research Source

In the first landscape I’ve choose is in and anime called spited away. Hayao Miyazaki is the author/writer of this anime. I have read through the book called The Art of Sprited away, the book has been publishing by Viz Media in 2002. Why it reliable because it is a collaboration Ghibli studio and Viz Media.

Next, I have choosen a landscape pictures from a website. This painting name is Dutch boat in a gale. The artist who makes this artwork name is Joseph Mallord William Turner. It was publish in 1801. I had found this artwork from a website called Nationalgallery.org.uk

Bad Research Source

First bad research source I’ve found it in Youtube. It is a review of how Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand look like. The video is published in 2018. Why it is a bad research source, because things in Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand could be change due to the time passed each years.

Second I have do a research on French Alps. I have found some information on Wikipedia. It was published in 2 September 2019. Why Wikipedia is not a good place, I It might have a wrong information about a place we’re researching because the information can be easily changed by anyone.

In yesterday textiles lesson, I was working on researching about What is your fashion style. Which I have to make a questions about 5-10 for my classmate to answers. I was a bit nervous because I’m not usually talk much to others, so I don’t know what to question should I give to my classmate. It was quite difficult for me at first but in the end it was good.

I was a bit tricky at first, because I don’t know how to make a question, not sure wether my question is good enough, but in the end I manage to finish my question. After I had finish my question, I’ve moved to the computer to write my questions with some pictures. Then print it out for each classmate to answer my question. I have answer my classmate question too, I found that most of then give a different kind of questions. The good things in this work is I learned how my classmate shows attention in fashion trends , which style they like and they thinks about fashion. I think it turned out quite well because most of my classmate give me a good answer and give opinion about how they think of every question I’ve gave it to them. The research result shows that all my classmate like different in fashion style, but all of them thinks that fashion are important nowadays. They are quite often buying new clothes and do famous people had influence then in fashion, the result came out 70% of my class answer “Yes” and in the other side there are 30% of them answer “No”. I have ask them what is their favourite fashion style, Majority of my class loves vintage styles, 20% of them likes oversized clothing styles, Korean and casual style have 10% of each.

I have learned how to do research which it was my first time in doing it, It was quite fun in doing it because I can get a different opinion from others about the topic that I’m curious. It gets a bit tricky for me at first because I was my first time in doing it and doesn’t know what question should I ask but after pass that moment the result the turned out in a good ways. I am satisfied with my results but in order to get a better results, I need to prepare more wide range question for my classmate, So I can get more opinion for my research.
